Welcome to Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or interacting with us in any way, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Company Information
Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company specializing in quality fightwear. Our online store is operated from Québec, Canada.
2. Use of Our Website
By using our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or disrupt its functioning in any way.
3. Product Information and Availability
We strive to ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update information at any time without prior notice. Product availability is subject to change.
4. Orders and Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We accept payment via secure third-party platforms including Stripe. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
Currency & Geo-Location Notice:
Stonebelt’s online store is based in Canada and our default currency is Canadian Dollars (CAD).
For convenience, customers outside Canada will normally see prices displayed in United States Dollars (USD).
We use GeoIP technology to detect your location and show the appropriate currency.
If you access our site using a VPN, proxy server, or other location-masking service, the detected country may be inaccurate and prices may be shown in the wrong currency.
All orders are processed in the currency selected at checkout.
If a VPN or incorrect location detection causes the wrong currency to appear, your payment method will still be charged in the currency confirmed on the checkout page, and your bank or card provider may apply exchange rates and fees.
Stonebelt is not responsible for any additional conversion costs or discrepancies resulting from the use of VPNs, proxies, or inaccurate GeoIP detection.
Please double-check your currency and totals before completing your order.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship domestically and internationally. Shipping times and costs vary depending on destination and shipping method. Stonebelt is not responsible for delays caused by customs or third-party couriers or for any custom fees incurred.
6. Returns and Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined in our official Return & Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Stonebelt offers one free size exchange per order for eligible domestic purchases. Returns for refund are subject to customer-paid return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.
All items must be unused, unwashed, tried on for fit only, and returned with original packaging and accessories.
International orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on our site including logos, product designs, photos, and text is the intellectual property of Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. and may not be used without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Furthermore, we are not responsible for how our gear is used in training or competition. Customers are responsible for ensuring the proper and safe use of all gear purchased from us.
9. Assumption of Risk
By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that martial arts, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, involve inherent physical risks. Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from improper use, accidents, or negligence during training or competition. Users assume all risk associated with the use of our gear.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products are provided “as is” and “as available” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. does not warrant that the products will meet all user expectations or performance standards beyond those described.
11. Jurisdiction for International Buyers
For all transactions, including those made from outside Canada (e.g., the United States), you agree that any disputes shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Québec and resolved in the courts of Québec. By purchasing from Stonebelt, you waive any right to file claims in another jurisdiction.
12. Québec Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall override your rights as a consumer under the laws of Québec. If any clause is found unenforceable under the Québec Consumer Protection Act, it shall be interpreted in the most favorable way to the consumer, without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.
13. Force Majeure
Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, shipping issues, or acts of government.
14. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through our website is used solely for processing orders and improving customer experience. 15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Québec.

17. SMS Messaging
By providing your mobile phone number at checkout or through any of our sign-up forms, you consent to receive SMS messages from Stonebelt Fightwear Inc. These messages may include order updates, shipping notifications, customer service communications, and occasional promotional content (only if you have explicitly opted in).
Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. You can opt out of promotional SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP.” For help, reply “HELP” or contact us at info@stonebelt.ca.

19. User-Generated Content (UGC) Ownership
By sharing any content with Stonebelt (such as photos, reviews, or comments), you grant Les vêtements de combat Stonebelt Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for promotional or advertising purposes, in any digital or printed format.
20. Pricing and Display Errors
In the event of a pricing or display error on our website, Stonebelt reserves the right to cancel any related order, even after confirmation or payment. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
21.Data Security and Digital Responsibility
While we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data, no online system is entirely immune to unauthorized access. Stonebelt shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access, data loss, or misuse resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
22.Product Variations and Appearance Disclaimer
Despite our best efforts to represent our products accurately, minor variations in color, texture, or fit may occur due to lighting, production differences, or display settings. Such variations do not constitute defects.
23. Customer Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account. Stonebelt reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.
24. Dispute Resolution Process (Pre-Litigation)
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably before initiating any legal proceedings. All communications regarding such disputes must be made in writing to info@stonebelt.ca.
25. Language Clause
In the event of any inconsistency between the English and French versions of these Terms and Conditions, the French version shall prevail.
